I'm just curious but would you mind updating the MySQL versions? I would greatly appreciate it.

Whenever I sign in to manage the data in the database it always seems to load VERY slowly. I don't know if this is just server or the database software that's having trouble loading (definitely not on my end) and I was looking at a way to make it faster. Pulling content and adding it via a web application is no problem, it goes through within milliseconds (or however fast). I'll eventually be adding a sort of control panel to my content so I can easily manage it in a refined fashion, but I think it would be beneficial for everyone who uses your services if you updated the database software.

Great appreciative,
Maggoteer

EDIT:

Checked out your blog and saw that performance was slow because of excessive users - rechecked the website and it looks like it's so much faster - thanks!

Another EDIT:

Saw that you updated the databases to latest version, but how are we supposed to update to that version as well? It still using 5.1.41 on my end.

It should work to use a client of an older version to connect to a newer server. Mostly at least.

db4free.net always uses the latest or even a development version of MySQL. Since db4free.net's purpose is to be a testing platform, it totally makes sense to use the very latest.

The same applies to phpMyAdmin ... also this is almost always very up-to-date.

Cheers,
Markus
