Spammers have become too much of a problem here, so there is no use to leave forum registration open for everyone by themselves.

Forum accounts now have to be activated by the admin, which is me, but out of hundreds of registered accounts per day it is totally impossible for me to find out who wants to be a legitimate forum user, or who just wants to be evil.

So if you want a forum account, please do the following:

• register in the forum
• send an email to forum@db4free.net (please do that right after your forum registration so your account won't get nuked before I get the email) ...
• tell me what your forum user name is (so I can find it)
• and give me a reason why I should assume that you are not one of these bastards (no specific rules on how to do that)
• last but not least, please allow me some time to respond

Lets try how that works, and depending on the experience, adjustments may be made.
